Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing the Lille ace.

Lille president Gerard Lopez spoke exclusively to French media outlet La Voix Du Nord, and suggested that the sale of reported Liverpool target Nicolas Pepe is nearly complete, although he did not specify which club had won the race to sign the Ivorian.
The 24-year-old was in sensational form for lille last season, racking up 23 goals and 12 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions, and he seems to be exactly the kind of player who the Reds need.
French media outlet L’Equipe claims that Pepe is valued at around €80 million (£72 million) by Lille, but it is unclear as to whether Liverpool are prepared to pay that amount for the attacker.
The Merseyside outfit have been interested in signing the Lille ace since April, according to a report from Le 10 Sport.
And Lille president Gerard Lopez suggested that Pepe’s exit from the club is ‘almost done’, as quoted by French media outlet La Voix Du Nord:

“For Nico, it is almost done and he could have left last summer. It is true that there are big offers and big clubs in for him, so I think he will leave.”
So judging by those remarks, there are plenty of big clubs in for Pepe.
And Liverpool fans will be hoping that Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards are doing all that they can to bring the 24-year-old to Anfield this summer.
