Watford forward Gerard Deulofeu has posted a picture of him and Everton left-back Lucas Digne on Twitter after the match on Monday.

Deulofeu featured for Watford in their 2-2 draw with Everton away from home at Goodison Park on Monday evening.

The 24-year-old did not start the game, but the Spain international came on as a substitute on the hour mark.

Deulofeu is a former Everton player, having had a loan spell at Goodison Park from Barcelona during the 2013-14 season before making a permanent move to the Toffees in 2015.

The forward played with Everton left-back Digne at Barcelona, and the Watford star has posted a picture of him with the Toffees’ 2018 summer signing on Twitter after the game.

Digne grabbed the headlines on Monday evening, as the left-back scored a stunning free-kick goal in injury time to make it 2-2.

Everton are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment, while Watford currently find themselves 12th in the standings.
