Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu is determined to impress for the Goodison Park side next season.

Gerard Deulofeu remained coy when asked where Everton would finish in the Premier League next season by the club’s official site.
Although Deulofeu admits that he dreams of playing in Europe with the Toffees, he would not make any predictions as to what position his side would finish.

“I think the best thing to do is to not make predictions. We need to start the season, take it step by step and just concentrate on working hard,” the Spaniard said when asked whether Everton would finish next campaign.
“Of course, I dream of playing in Europe with Everton. Everton is a top club, a historic club and we have an amazing group of footballers. We need to stay in the top positions, but it’s a difficult thing to do because the league is so competitive.”
Everton finished in 11th place last season, but they go into the new campaign with big expectations upon them.

The Toffees have appointed Ronald Koeman to guide them forward, and there is great optimism about the Dutch boss’s arrival.
Koeman will have over £100 million to spend when he becomes Everton boss, and he is expected to invest heavily over the summer.
Deulofeu’s role next season is yet to be decided, but he has stated that he wants to play more regularly.
The Spanish under-21 international was regularly used as an impact substitute last term, but he is eager to force his way into the starting line-up next year.
