Watford player Gerard Deulofeu has sent a message to Daniel Ceballos on Instagram after the midfielder joined Arsenal on loan from Real Madrid.
As announced on Arsenal’s official website on Friday evening, Ceballos has returned to the Gunners on a season-long loan deal from Spanish and European giants Madrid.
The 24-year-old midfielder spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at the North London club from Los Blancos as well.
Deulofeu, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, has responded to Ceballos’s post on Instagram.
Deulofeu responded: “Sé feliz hermano ahi veremos tu mejor version”.
When translated from Spanish, it reads: “Be happy brother there we will see your best version”.
Good signing for Arsenal?
Ceballos did well for Arsenal last season, especially after Arteta was appointed the head coach.
The 24-year-old creates chances for his teammates and drives the team forward, and he is also a very skilful player who adds finesse and class to the Gunners’ midfield.
According to WhoScored, Ceballos made 18 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal last season, providing two assists in the process.
The Gunners will be aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table next season.
