The Toffees are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 13 points from six matches.

Everton have also become more solid at the back, having conceded just four goals in six Premier League matches so far this season.

Deulofeu, who is 22 years of age, has explained why everything is going right for the Merseyside outfit so far this season.

“I think the staff is more serious, the training is more possession and physical but it’s really in the head,” Deulofeu told The Times when asked what is going right for Everton this season.

Koeman was appointed the Everton manager in the summer following his departure from Premier League rivals Southampton.

The Dutchman is doing a wonderful job at Goodison Park at the moment.

Everton do not have the squad to compete for a Champions League spot, but the Toffees should certainly considered as one of the teams who can end up fifth or sixth in the Premier League this season.

The Merseyside outfit will take on Crystal Palace at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Friday evening.
