Claudio Pasqualin, the agent of Aston Villa target and Udinese forward Gerard Deulofeu has said that he is expected to have offers in abundance at the end of the season.
During the January transfer window, it seemed likely that the £15 million-rated winger would sign for the Villains, with Unai Emery reportedly personally wanting him to join the club. However, a move failed to come to fruition as the Spaniard remained in Italy.
Now, the agent of Aston Villa target Gerard Deulofeu has said that despite him managing to stay put at Udinese in January, offers are expected to fall at his doorstep in the summer.
Aston Villa target Deulofeu agent says summer offers are likely
The La Masia graduate has enjoyed a fruitful season in Serie A, registering 6 goals and 2 assists in 15 starts. If it weren’t for a knee injury, he would be expected to continue firing at the blistering rate he was.
Speaking to Italian outlet Messagero Veneto, the agent of Gerard Deulofeu, Claudio Pasqualin said he would have offers amid links to a transfer to Aston Villa.

“He has requests, there will be offers and then we’ll see”, he said.
Deulofeu would be a smart signing
Currently, Unai Emery’s side seriously lack sufficient threat going forward for the project under him to explode like it potentially can.
However, Aston Villa should be one of the clubs that are likely to place offers for the ‘unplayable’ Gerard Deulofeu, as per his agent, with a direct and productive winger like him being exactly what they are missing.
Other creative players behind the striker such as Jacob Ramsey, Emiliano Buendia and Philippe Coutinho have been unsuccessful in their attempts to kick on and make Villa a danger, which has made them overly reliant on Ollie Watkins’ individual brilliance.
