Liverpool returned to action on Thursday as they played a friendly at Anfield.
The game was a chance for the Reds to warm up for the resumption of the Premier League season.
This was Liverpool’s first fixture since March, and midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum was among the players delighted to be back in action, shaking off the rest.
Liverpool beat Blackburn Rovers 6-0, with Naby Keita, Sadio Mane, Takumi Minamino, Joel Matip, Ki-Jana Hoever, and Leighton Clarkson the scorers.
Wijnaldum sent a message to supporters after the friendly fixture concluded.
Wijnaldum will likely be among Liverpool’s starters when the Premier League resumes.
The game gave a chance for some of Liverpool’s youngsters and fringe players to get a run out too, and Naby Keita’s goal was especially notable.
The Reds’ first game is a Merseyside derby, set to be held at Goodison Park on June 21.
