Liverpool will look to continue their positive start to the season when they face Swansea City this weekend.

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has spoken about the high spirits in the Liverpool dressing room to the club’s official website that has come about following their positive start to the season.
The Reds have won four of their opening six Premier League games, and will go in search of their fourth consecutive league win when they face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium this weekend.
Wijnaldum told the official Liverpool website: “[The dressing room spirit] is really good at the moment, especially [because] we are winning games and [with] how we are winning games – with good football and counter-pressing.

“The things we want to do on the field, everything works, so the feeling is good.
“Even after the draw with Tottenham or the game we lost [at Burnley], I don’t want to say the feeling was good at that moment but we still had confidence and that shows that we have faith in each other.
“We were disappointed but it was not the end of the world, we had confidence after those two results.”
Liverpool currently sit fourth in the Premier League and could climb as high as second in the division this weekend. Much of their impressive start to the season has been down to beating the bigger sides on the road having got wins against Arsenal and Chelsea, and were a little disappointed to pick up a draw against a Tottenham.

A lot has been said about the Reds beating sides they should do. They past the test put in front of them by Hull City last weekend with flying colours in a 5-1 win at Anfield, now they face a Swansea City side struggling above the relegation zone on their own patch. It could be a test of Liverpool’s attitude and their ruthlessness as they look go into the international break on a high.
It’s interesting to see that after the disappointment of Burnley, and perhaps the missed opportunity against Tottenham that Liverpool felt high on confidence and had belief in what they were doing. The response to any setback they have had so far this season have been very positive.
