The midfielder joined the club in the summer transfer window in a big money move from Newcastle United.
He had to wait until last weekend for his first goal for the club, though, when he found the back of the net in the Reds 6-1 win over Watford.

There is hope that will be the first of more to come, especially given the Dutchman bagged 11 in all competitions for the Magpies last season.
And he says he is confident of doing so but admit he will need help from his teammates.
“If a team helps me get in that position, I believe I can deliver. I have the confidence to believe I can do it. That’s how I look at it,” he told the club’s official website.

Liverpool will certainly be keen to see Wijnaldum adding to his goal tally across the campaign.
The Reds are currently the Premier League’s highest goalscorers with 30 in their 11 matches so far.
The goals have come from all over the pitch, with 10 of their players, including Wijnaldum, having found the back of the net.
Maintaining their goalscoring form will be key to their title challenge and having the Dutchman among the goals will be a major boost in that regard.
