Burnley are said to be set to sign Georges Kevin N’Koudou from Tottenham Hotspur.
If Georges Kevin N’Koudou does agree to leave Tottenham Hotspur to join Burnley this month, as Sky Sports have reported, then it is surely make or break for the wide-man’s career with Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
N’Koudou has badly struggled at Spurs, ever since making the switch the North London club back in 2016, and his future at Tottenham appears to be firmly up in the air.
If the Frenchman fails to impress at Burnley, it seems almost impossible for him to break back into Tottenham’s team.
N’Koudou surely will not receive any more chances at Spurs, unless he can prove his worth on a temporary spell away from the club.
The youngster has failed to show that he is ready to make an impact at Premier League level during his time with Tottenham so far, but a fresh start at Burnley could be ideal for him.
And if the move is a success, then N’Koudou may just be handed one more chance to save his Tottenham career next term. However, if he fails at Turf Moor, the writing is surely on the wall for his career with the Lilywhites.
