Tottenham Hotspur took on Stoke City in the Premier League yesterday and romped home to a 4-0 win against the Potters for the second season in succession.

The performance was much better from Tottenham, who have been stuttering at the start of this new campaign.

Unfortunately, the game came too soon for the new signing Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.

The French youngster arrived at Spurs on deadline day. That came after a long and protracted 40 days of negotiation over a deal – during which time the winger did not train with his former club Marseille.

That meant he was short of match fitness and was not involved in the matchday squad yesterday.

But he was certainly involved on Twitter.

The attacker was clearly struggling to just watch the game yesterday, obviously keen to get going with his Tottenham career:

N’Koudou’s enthusiasm to play for the club will no doubt please the Spurs faithful, who will be hoping that he can live up to the massive effort that went into bringing him to White Hart Lane.

If he plays as eagerly as he tweets, then Spurs have plenty to be excited about.
