New Tottenham midfielder Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has reached out to his fellow Spurs speedster Kyle Walker on Twitter, following Fifa 17’s release of the ratings for the White Hart Lane outfit.

Nkoudou was particularly delighted to be ranked as the North Londoners’ fastest player in the game, something Walker may have had his eye on this season. The former Marseille star received a 92 score from EA Sports in pace, while Walker had to make do with 90.

Neither Nkoudou or Walker have had an upgrade to their pace statistics this season, but with the Frenchman getting eight points added to his overall rating, and Walker moving up to two points to make him one of the best right backs in the Premier League, both may have hoped they would see a speed increase.

The winger had to wait a long time to complete his move to White Hart Lane, with the deal with Marseille one of the transfer sagas of the summer, but there appears to be nothing slow about the France Under-21 international when it comes to his footballing, or social media prowess.

The 21-year-old could show off his speed for the first time in Tottenham colours in Wednesday’s League Cup match against Gillingham. Walker is likely to be rested for the match with Kieran Trippier waiting for his first start of the season.
