Tottenham’s Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has commented on his relationships with Moussa Sissoko and Marcus Edwards.
Tottenham Hotspur winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has told the club’s official website that he has struck up friendships with Moussa Sissoko and Marcus Edwards.
Nkoudou, 21, has been with Tottenham for just over two months now having joined the club from Marseille on deadline day back in August, but has mostly been a bit-part player so far.
The Frenchman has made just one start for Tottenham – the 2-1 EFL Cup defeat at Liverpool last week – and has only played 12 minutes of Premier League action so far.

Nkoudou may be hoping to feature against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League this evening, and ahead of the game, he has been discussing his friendships with Spurs team-mates.
Nkoudou told the club’s official website that he feels he has adapted well to life in England, and has struck up a friendship with fellow Frenchman Moussa Sissoko.

A fellow deadline day arrival, Sissoko is a French international – something Nkoudou will aspire to be in the future – and the youngster admitted that he also gets on well with Dele Alli and Kyle Walker.
Nkoudou also revealed that he speaks with teenage sensation Marcus Edwards, as they try to teach each other their native tongue, helping Nkoudou learn English and Edwards learn French.
Nkoudou suggested that he and Edwards have a close relationship off the pitch, once again demonstrating the close-knit nature of the Tottenham dressing room under Mauricio Pochettino.

“I think I’ve adapted well to life in England, I’ve settled in nicely and in the changing rooms I get on with everyone,” said Nkoudou. “Obviously I get on with Moussa Sissoko because he speaks French but all the guys are great – Dele Alli, Kyle Walker, everyone!”
“Off the pitch I speak a lot to Marcus Edwards as well. I try to speak English with Marcus and Marcus tries to speak to French with me! He’s getting quite good! We talk about everything really – FIFA video games, life, families, things like that. We’re friends off the pitch and we enjoy having a laugh together,” he added.
