Forgotten man Georges-Kevin N’Koudou made a shock return to Tottenham Hotspur’s team at the weekend.
N’Koudou featured in Tottenham’s friendly win over Real Madrid.
It was his first appearance since his showing in the FA Cup loss to Crystal Palace in January.
He was subsequently loaned out to Monaco, where his stint was wrecked by injury.
So far there have been no takers for the winger in the transfer window.
N’Koudou sent a message to fans following his surprise appearance.
N’Koudou had not travelled on tour with Tottenham’s squad in pre-season.
This could just have been a way for Spurs to put him back in the shop window, or one last roll of the dice from Mauricio Pochettino to see if the winger could step up.
An exit this summer is still the most likely solution.
