Tottenham Hotspur moved fourth in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Tottenham Hotspur beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 on Wednesday to move fourth in the Premier League table.
Goals from Serge Aurier – his first for Spurs – and Son Heung-min toward the end of each half was enough as Tottenham picked up a second straight win, having previously gone four games without one.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino made four changes from the 5-1 demolition of Stoke – including dropping Dele Alli – but some improving fringe players missed out entirely.

Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, who scored his first goal for Tottenham in the 3-0 Champions League win over APOEL last week, was not named in Pochettino’s matchday squad for last night’s win or the visit of Stoke on Saturday.
The 22-year-old winger has only managed one Premier League appearance this season, but N’Koudou proved himself a team player nevertheless with a three-word supportive message on Twitter at full time.

It seems possible that N’Koudou could leave Tottenham in some sense in January, be it on loan or a permanent transfer.
Pochettino spent some £9.4 million on bringing him in from Marseille 18 months ago but it hasn’t worked, with the youngster making just nine Premier League appearances since – and none from the start.
