Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino told Football.London last week that Georges Kevin N’Koudou was still in his plans, but the winger may have blown his chance of breaking into Spurs’ first-team.

N’Koudou has been given game time at Tottenham recently, due to Pochettino’s side’s injury problems in attacking areas.

The wide-man helped Tottenham pick up a win against Fulham by putting in a brilliant ball for Harry Winks, but when given a starting chance he looked out of his depth.

N’Koudou was selected to start for Spurs against Crystal Palace at the weekend, but he badly struggled.

The Frenchman’s first touch looked heavy, and he posed very little threat, as Tottenham were beaten 2-0 at Selhurst Park.

And with Heung-MIn Son set to return to from international duty, it seems that N’Koudou may not have done enough to convince he is ready for Tottenham’s team.

The winger has only ever shown brief flashes of quality ever since moving to Tottenham in a £9 million transfer back in 2016 (BBC Sport).

And although Pochettino suggested that NKoudou was still part of his plans at Spurs, he should really think about selling the 23-year-old, as he doesn’t look up to the standard required to represent them on a regular basis.
