N’Jie will join Marseille on a season-long loan having finally agreed to join the French club just a year after leaving Lyon for Spurs – and with a €7m (£6m) permanent clause included, it may be a long-term return to France for the Cameroon international.
Nkoudou hit nine goals and five assists in all competitions for Marseille last season, impressing at the Stade Velodrome having signed from Ligue 1 rivals Nantes last summer.
The winger, who can play on either flank, will add major pace to the Spurs attack, something Mauricio Pochettino’s men have lacked at times, and the Argentinian will feel that he can develop Nkoudou into a star at White Hart Lane.
