Tottenham Hotspur fans had to wait very patiently for Georges-Kevin N’Koudou to complete his move to White Hart Lane in the summer, but on early evidence he will become a star for the club.

The 21-year-old is yet to start for Spurs, making cameo appearances against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League and Middlesbrough and Manchester City in the Premier League.

His longest outing to date was the 30-minute run-out against Gillingham in the EFL Cup, and it is in that competition that he could well make his first start for Tottenham when they face Liverpool later this month.

With the matches coming thick and fast for Mauricio Pochettino’s side he will have to manage his squad effectively and having now settled in North London N’Koudou deserves a start to show what he can do from the outset.

The winger has a box of tricks, supreme confidence and great technical ability and while he may not yet be ready to start week in, week out, the match against Liverpool on 25 October is the perfect introduction.

If N’Koudou can cut it on a tough night at Anfield he has what it takes to succeed at Tottenham, and if he plays to his full potential he could even outshine some of the Reds’ exciting attacking talent.
