The French youngster is not going to White Hart Lane, so who should Spurs sign?
Georges-Kevin Nkoudou at Marseille
It has looked for a long time that Tottenham Hotspur were set to sign Georges-Kevin N’Koudou from Marseille this summer.
It was reported that Spurs are set to sign the French under-21 international, who had reportedly already passed a medical with the London club, for a fee in the region of £10.95 million – as reported by TF1.
A deal hinged on Tottenham player Clinton N’Jie heading to Marseille on loan – however, it seems neither deal will be happening.
Le Phoceen reported yesterday that the negotiations were over.
So who could Spurs target instead of N’Koudou?
Here are three options…
Rafa Silva – Braga
Braga’s Rafa Silva in action
Just a week ago the Mirror reported that Tottenham were upping their interest in Euro 2016 winner Rafa Silva of Braga.
The 23-year-old winger would reportedly cost around £10 million, so he is certainly in Spurs’ price bracket, and would be a perfect alternative.
Sofiane Boufal – Lille

Spurs have also been linked with the Lille attacker recently.
The Moroccan international can play in a number of positions and might also come at a good price.
Yacine Brahimi – Porto
Porto’s Yacine Brahimi (L) and Rio Ave’s Alhassan Wakaso in action.
The most rounded of the three currently the Algerian would be a fantastic recruit.
A sticking point – Porto. The Portuguese side are notoriously difficult to bargain with and he would not come cheap.
