Wolverhampton Wanderers fans were not big fans of George Saville last term.

George Saville may just have proven Wolverhampton Wanderers fans wrong with his outstanding form for Millwall this season.
It is fair to say that Saville wasn’t exactly a popular figure at Molineux, during his time with the Midlands club.
Wolves fans regularly criticised the former Chelsea midfielder for being ineffective, and there was very little disappointment when he left last summer.

However, Saville seems to have rediscovered his confidence since moving to Millwall, and he is proving once and for all that he is a very valuable weapon at Championship level.
Saville netted his 10th league goal of the season in Millwall’s draw with Ipswich Town yesterday, and he has been a key player in Neil Harris’ side.

Wolves will, of course, argue that they now have better than Saville in their team and even if he had stuck around he wouldn’t have got a game.
But Saville has shown that he does have the quality to impress in the Championship, which many Wolves fans appeared to doubt last season.
