Tottenham Hotspur have loaned George Marsh out to Leyton Orient.

Tottenham Hotspur’s incoming business ended almost two weeks ago, but there is still some outgoing activity going on right now.
Anthony Georgiou has joined Ipswich Town on loan, Jack Roles has made a similar move to Cambridge United, and Kazaiah Sterling has headed off to Doncaster Rovers.
Another move was done on Monday, as midfielder George Marsh completed a loan move to Leyton Orient, and he’ll be with the League Two side until January.
Marsh, 20, will get valuable playing time with Orient, picking up experience of senior men’s football before heading back to Spurs – and Tottenham may yet have another long-term gain in mind.
Marsh’s move means he will be playing alongside Orient defender Dan Happe, just about six weeks since The Sun claimed that Spurs had a £300,000 bid rejected for him.
The 20-year-old impressed in non-league last season, and Spurs had seemingly earmarked him as one for the future before failing with a bid, and the defender then signed a new contract.

Happe may yet remain on the Spurs radar, and loaning Marsh to Orient may just strengthen relations between the two clubs ahead of going back in for Happe in the future.
Spurs may even be able to get a verdict on Happe from Marsh, learning more about him as a player and as a person, strengthening Tottenham’s reports on the defender in the process.
Marsh surely wouldn’t be used in a part-exchange offer, but Spurs should be looking to use Marsh’s loan to help their own pursuit of Happe down the line.
