The former Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal boss believes his old sides will be the most happy with their squads.

Tottenham Hotspur are one of just two Premier League sides, along with Arsenal, who can be truly happy with their squad, according to George Graham.

Speaking to Talksport on Tuesday, Graham – who managed both Tottenham and Arsenal – insisted that despite dropping to fifth in the standings, Spurs have little to worry about this season.

Tottenham would be top of the league had they won just one of their last two fixtures, which ended in draws against West Bromwich Albion and Bournemouth.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side scored just one goal across those two fixtures, and their tally of 13 in nine is at least six lower than any of the top four.

But when asked if Tottenham’s lack of goals are a problem, Graham told Talksport: “No, I think Tottenham are one of the ones that I would say are reasonably pleased with their playing staff.

“I think last season they just failed in the last couple of games so they don’t need a lot to put right.

“Obviously, you’re talking about the striker Harry Kane [who has been injured since September] but Son [Heung-min] came in and scored a few goals so I think, along with Arsenal… they’re probably the only two clubs that are happy with their playing staff.”

Tottenham added Victor Wanyama, Moussa Sissoko, Vincent Janssen and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou to last season’s squad, from which Ryan Mason and Nacer Chadli were perhaps the most notable departures.

And Spurs’ added depth has ensured that Kane has not really been missed, with four victories amassed and no defeats suffered in his absence.
