Rangers lost 2-0 to Celtic in the Old Firm clash on Saturday.

Pedro Caixinha’s Rangers lost 2-0 to arch rivals Celtic in the first Old Firm derby clash of the 2017/18 campaign.
Second half goals from Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths earned three points for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
The win also extended Celtic’s unbeaten run of unbeaten domestic games to 57. The Bhoys have also taken a significant lead over their arch rivals Ibrox club Rangers of eight points.

Rangers did well to prevent Celtic from scoring in the first half, and created a few good chances as well.
However, in the second half, Celtic raised their game, and were class apart. Rogic opening the scoring just after the break pouncing on a loose ball, and Griffiths added the second picking up a superb pass from Patrick Roberts.

Scottish politician, broadcaster and writer, George Galloway, took to social networking site Twitter to express his reaction. He noted that Rangers were “chasing shadows” in the second half, while Celtic were on a “different league”.
According to BBC Sport, Celtic enjoyed a 58% ball possession, had earned 11 corners, and had registered 18 shots during the match.
