Hull City and Newcastle United are due to meet in the EFL Cup semi-final later this evening.
George Boateng has told Sky Sports News, which was broadcast on 29th November, that he believes Newcastle United will beat Hull City at the KCOM Stadium later this evening.
Boateng may have used to represent Hull, but he cannot see his former side progressing against Newcastle in the fixture.
When asked who he thought would progress to the EFL Cup semi-final, Boateng simply responded: “Newcastle.”

The Magpies are currently playing in the division below Hull, but they are the team with momentum on their side.
Newcastle may go into the fixture on the back of a 1-0 defeat against Blackburn Rovers, but they still have won nine of their last 10 matches and sit at the top of the Championship table.
Hull, meanwhile, are struggling badly in the Premier League – with their form taking a turn for the worse.

The Tigers started the season with back-to-back victories, but they have slipped down the top flight standings since and now sit in 18th place.
If Newcastle are able to beat Hull, they will move to within two wins of lifting their first major trophy since 1955.
