Heung-min Son has been in sparkling form for Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks.

Sky Sports pundit Geroge Boateng believes Heung-min Son’s willingness to ‘run in behind’ the opposition is rare amongst attackers as he compared the Tottenham player to Cristiano Ronaldo.
South Korea international Son has been in blistering form in recent weeks, scoring five goals in his last five matches for Tottenham in all competitions, including a brace against Everton last time out.
Son’s recent performances have helped Spurs reached the semi-final of the Carabao Cup and sit six points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool in the table.
Former Aston Villa midfielder Boateng raved about Son’s ability as he stated that ‘not many players’ do what he does, but he did point out that Cristiano Ronaldo ‘used to do it for United’.
“Honestly, he [Son] is one of the best,” Boateng told Sky Sports News on 24/12/2018 at 10:30 am. “Everyone focuses on Kane because Kane finishes goals, but I think Son creates so much threat going forward.
“His willingness to stretch. There are not many players, especially wingers, they prefer to have the ball on their feet and when you have the ball at your feet the opposition can close. But Son likes to run in behind and that’s a huge difference. Not many do it, Cristiano Ronaldo used to do it for Manchester United and Son does it for Tottenham Hotspur.”

Over the course of the campaign, Son has played 22 games in all competitions for his club, finding the back of the net on eight occasions and supplying five assists in the process.
Son has played all across the front line for Mauricio Pochettino this season, from being utilised as a left-sided winger, playing in behind the striker or simply playing up front.
Following his two goals at Goodison Park on Sunday, which helped his side to a comprehensive 6-2 victory, Son will be preparing himself for a busy festive period.
The north London club play back-to-back home games, starting with Bournemouth on Boxing Day before rounding off the year by hosting Wolves at Wembley.
