Steve McClaren Manager

Queens Park Rangers have fired manager Steve McClaren.

McClaren led QPR to just one league win in 2019.

Despite their terrible run of form, QPR loanee Geoff Cameron had kind words to say about his outgoing boss.

Cameron signed for McClaren’s QPR on loan from Stoke City.

He hailed McClaren was ‘one of the best’ via Twitter.

The 33-year-old had made14 appearances for QPR this past season, scoring once and providing one assist.

He did not feature in QPR’s last game, a 2-1 home loss to bottom side Bolton Wanderers.

QPR are in 17th place, and are at danger of dropping into the relegation places.
