Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club announced that Rui Patricio had left Molineux to join Roma.
What’s the story?
Well, after three years at Wolves, the 33-year-old has swapped the Midlands for Rome.
Patricio will team up with Jose Mourinho in Serie A, after Roma paid £9.8m to take the 97-cap Portugal international away from the Premier League.
In total, the former Sporting Lisbon shot-stopper made 127 appearances for Wolves, keeping 37 clean sheets.
As reported by the BBC, Wolves are expected to sign Olympiakos goalkeeper Jose Sa to replace Patricio.
Sad to see him go, but a great deal for Wolves

After a number of memorable displays, it will be sad to see Patricio leave.
However, Wolves have done brilliantly from a financial viewpoint.
They managed to sign Patricio for free after he terminated his contract with Sporting Lisbon, following a training ground attack from supporters.

Now, Wolves have secured nearly £10m for him, after three years of quality service.
That’s how to operate effectively in the market – fair play indeed.
Let’s see what the Wolves fans on Twitter have been saying about Patricio’s departure…
