Some Leeds United fans have been reacting to the news that Lewis Cook has picked up another serious injury.

The midfielder has had some serious problems with his fitness in recent years, and unfortunately for the England international, he’s had another massive setback.

Indeed, Cook has picked up an ACL problem, and that’s just as serious as it sounds, keeping him out until at least the end of the season, and likely beyond that.

Cook, of course, came through Leeds United’s academy before being sold to Bournemouth under the management of Garry Monk in 2016.

Despite the fact he left the club almost five years ago, United fans clearly still have a soft spot for the one-cap international, and they’ve been sending messages of support to their former player.

We can only hope that Cook is able to get over this injury quickly and get back to his best sooner rather than later.

Here’s what the Elland Road faithful have been saying on social media…
