Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to react after hearing that Keinan Davis will not be joining Stoke, after suffering an injury.
What’s the story?
Well, the 23-year-old was all set for a much-needed experience away from Villa Park, where he could earn regular first-team football at Stoke.
However, as The Athletic reveal, the loan deal is now off after Davis suffered yet another injury.
It would’ve been the Englishman’s first move away from Villa Park since he became a part of the first-team, following his rise through the youth ranks.
Sadly, Davis will now have to wait for another opportunity to show what he can do.
It’s very, very sad to hear, as Aston Villa’s No.39 is really struggling for action under Dean Smith.

Tammy Abraham in, Keinan Davis out?
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea are bracing themselves for an offer from Aston Villa for Tammy Abraham, if Jack Grealish completes his £100m move to Manchester City.
If Abraham does end up back at Villa Park, it will surely be a nightmare for the £45,000-a-week Davis and his hopes of action under Smith.
In this scenario, Smith would then have Wesley, Ollie Watkins and Abraham to choose from, ahead of Davis.
In truth, the trio are significantly better than Davis, so it’s hard to see where the former Stevenage youngster would then fit in.
