Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are buzzing over seeing Oliver Skipp in Nuno Espirito Santo’s training on Friday.

Skipp is one of the most exciting academy players coming through at Spurs right now.

Last season, he started 44 of a possible 46 Championship games in helping Norwich City win Premier League promotion.

Tottenham fans were keen observers every single week and kept well up to date with how the 20-year-old midfielder was faring.

Football London reported earlier this month that Skipp – who suffered a leg injury toward the end of last term – would be staying in Nuno Espirito Santo’s senior side for the 2021-22 campaign, prompting celebration among fans of the Lilywhites.

On Friday, the North Londoners’ official Twitter account released footage of the player in training – and here’s how some Spurs supporters reacted on social media:

Perfect timing

The timing of this is perfect for Skipp.

Nuno has only had these Tottenham players for five days, with this being the first week of pre-season training.

With Skipp’s injury, it was important that he was fit again as soon as possible to make early statements to Nuno – and between now and the end of pre season, no doubt he’ll do just that.
