Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been going crazy over Jezreel Davies after his performance for the U18s on Thursday.

How did Jezreel Davies do?

Spurs’ U18s faced off against Ipswich on Thursday, and it was a tight affair for most of the game.

Indeed, heading into the 80th minute, it was only 2-1 to Spurs, but then Davies decided to turn on the style.

The 17-year-old bagged a goal in the 82nd minute before unselfishly handing his teammate a tap-in in added time, before adding a second goal of his own for good measure.

Davies single-handedly changed the game after coming off the bench, and as you may imagine, Spurs fans online were in awe of his performance.

Future star

Tottenham have so many talented youngsters at the club right now.

The likes of Dilan Markanday, Dane Scarlett and Alfie Devine look like absolute gems, but based on this performance, Davies could end up being a future star as well.

Fans online were quick to draw comparisons to the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Harry Kane, and while he’s not quite in that league yet, it has to be said that he was incredibly impressive against Ipswich.

Inevitably, some fans called for him to get a chance in the first-team, and while Davies is yet to make his senior debut, if he continues performing like this, it may not take long for Antonio Conte to sit up and take notice.
