Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Sporting Lisbon’s Gelson Martins.

If Tottenham Hotspur can bring in Gelson Martins, as the Daily Mirror say they are trying, they will have the fastest wing duo in the Premier League next season.

Martins has impressed at Sporting Lisbon this term, with his pace making him a real threat.

And the prospect of seeing Martins and Moura on either flank at Spurs next season should excite supporters.

Moura has been kept in reserve at Tottenham since signing from PSG in January, but he has shown flashes of class.

If Spurs could bring in Martins to back him up, then Mauricio Pochettino would have a wealth of options going forward.

And no opposition defence would enjoy having to keep Martins and Moura at bay.

The pair both possess absolutely searing pace, which would create space for Tottenham’s most creative talents.

The likes of Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli would thrive with Moura and Martins around them.

And if Pochettino’s side could bring in Martins this summer, he would be a great addition to their squad.
