Five goals in his first five games for Celtic, is Scott Sinclair just too good for the Scottish champions?

Sinclair, who joined from Aston Villa in the summer, became the first Celtic player to achieve that feat since Jimmy McGrory, who played for the club between 1922 and 1937 and later went on to manage them in the 1934/35 season.
It’s been a rocky four years for the winger since he left Swansea City in August 2012 where he produced his best football under current Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers which has endured spells on the bench for Manchester City, West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa.
Manchester City’s Scott Sinclair and Kolo Toure warm up
Prior to his move to Glasgow, Sinclair featured only 57 times with 30 starts. The need for regular games for the former Chelsea youth product was essential so linking up with Rodgers seemed to be a no brainer to revitalise his career.
But is Sinclair just too good given his start to life at Celtic Park?
Five in five for anyone is an impressive return but it seems as though he is a class above the Scottish Premiership, his goal in Sunday’s draw at Inverness CT showed his quality with a curling shot just from the edge of the box.
No doubt the 27 year-old has added another dimension to the Hoops attack with his blistering pace and hunger to score goals and commit defenders into challenges.

The ultimate challenge for Sinclair when moving to Celtic was to rediscover his confidence after indifferent spells at various clubs and he seems to have found that pretty quickly with the start he’s made in Scotland.
Surely a free flowing and self assured player on the pitch gives everyone a hint that he may be a cut above the rest. You only have to look at his first five games.

During his time in South Wales with Swansea City he showed his abilities where he scored 30 goals in 84 appearances before a move to Manchester City seemed to stall his progress, although life at Celtic seems to have rejuvenated the winger as he looks to return to his best form.
He seems back to his best but if the former Villa man continues his fine form, how long will he last in Glasgow if an English Premier League club comes calling?
