According to talkSPORT Sissoko will miss their trip to Moscow after the midfielder was substituted during Saturday’s Premier League win at Middlesbrough with concussion.
Harry Kane (ankle), Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele and Danny Rose (all hamstring) also did not travel.
It has certainly given manager Mauricio Pochettino a selection headache in a number of areas with key players out injured.
Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier injuries have made the central midfield options light which may mean Deli Alli will have to revert back into a deeper role alongside Victor Wanyama.
