Slaven Bilic says West Ham are facing three “mega games” as they aim to kick-start their season following four straight defeats.
Speaking ahead of his side’s game against Accrington Stanley Bilic says he knows the importance of the next three fixtures, he said, quoted by Sky Sports.
Bilic’s side have conceded 11 goals in their past three Premier League matches, including two 4-2 defeats on the spin to Watford and West Bromwich Albion.
Wednesday night’s EFL Cup tie at home to Accrington Stanley is the first of three home games they have and while the move to Stratford has seen negativity, with animosity and disputes between Hammers supporters, Bilic sees this as an opportunity to get their season up and running – on the pitch at least.

Speaking ahead of Wednesday’s clash, he said: “I’m not happy. The boys know that, we spoke after every game. The boys have to show a reaction.
“We’ve had a couple of poor results after the international break, conceded eight goals in two games. It’s put us in a situation that isn’t pleasant.
“You can get in trouble quickly but can get out of it quickly. We have three mega games before the break now, three cup finals.”
Southampton and Middlesbrough visit the London Stadium before the next international break and Bilic will clearly be looking for a marked improvement as he works hard to take the Hammers up the table.

West Ham have shown glimpses in all of their games what they’re capable of, the Watford game was a perfect example of the side’s failure to see out games when in control and consequently saw them let the game slip.
Wins breed confidence, a defeat or poor performance at home to League 2 Accrington, and more pressure will surround Bilic’s players.
