Gboly Ariyibi is on loan at MK Dons from Championship side Nottingham Forest this season.

Mark Warburton may be coming to terms with the fact that his Nottingham Forest side are having to deal with their third defeat in four Championship games after losing to Wolves on Saturday, but there is perhaps one player’s performance from over the weekend that will provide him with a small reason to smile.
Forest winger Gboly Ariyibi was arguably the star of the show for MK Dons as they claimed a narrow 3-2 victory over Rochdale at Stadium mk.
Gboly Ariyibi
The 22-year-old – who left the City Ground for the League One side on a season-long loan deal back in the summer – scored two wonderful first-half goals before Ryan Seager scored the winner late on for the home side.
Ariyibi’s first saw the wide-man strike a loose ball first time from about 12 yards out to cancel out the away side’s opener, but his second made his thunderous first look like a simple finish.

The former Southampton man took a brilliant touch to break away from two Rochdale players before he drilled a stunning effort into the roof of the net from outside the box to put the Dons in front.
While Ariyibi is yet to make an impact for the Forest first-team since arriving at the club towards the end of the last January transfer window, there can surely be no doubt that if he puts in more displays for MK Dons like the one he put in on Saturday then Warburton will have no choice but to think about giving him some minutes upon his return to the City Ground.
