West Ham United have withdrawn from talks over Hull CIty star Tom Huddlestone, HITC Sport understands.
SInce Hull’s relegation to the Championship at the end of last season, 28-year-old Huddlestone has been linked with a move back to the Premier League.
However, as yet nobody has shown any real intent until West Ham made their move last week – but now HITC Sport understands that the London outfit have had a re-think and have decided not to push ahead.
Huddlestone had been known to be keen on making the move to Upton Park, but unless Hammers manager Slaven Bilic performs a u-turn, the former Tottenham Hotspur man will not be joining them.
The former Derby County star has started both of Hull’s Championship games so far this season, but the club have already told him that they will not stand in his way if a suitable offer comes in.
