Leeds United have been linked with Crusaders winger Gavin Whyte in the summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, Leeds United are interested in signing Gavin Whyte from Crusaders in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Leeds are in talks to secure the services of the winger, with other clubs in England and Scotland claimed to be interested in him as well.
The 22-year-old winger is a Northern Ireland Under-21 international, and while Leeds fans will have reservations about him, what they cannot fault him for is his ambition.

The NIFL Premiership is not exactly a great domestic league, and Whyte, who was named as the Ulster Footballer of the Year last month, has lofty ambitions on a personal level.
Back in November 2017, Whyte told The Irish Sun: “My ambition is to play full-time football.”

Whyte’s ambition is to play full-time football, and he would be able to do just that at Leeds.
Of course, the winger would have to work very hard in order to raise his standards to the Championship and to meet the demands of playing for Leeds.
Whyte has the talent and the potential, and his attitude also seems to be spot-on. The 22-year-old may not be a big-name player, but Leeds fans would find a very honest, ambitious and hungry footballer in him.
