Erik Lamela will miss Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League game against Burnley this afternoon.

Erik Lamela is one of the best players in the current Tottenham Hotspur team and is hugely talented, but the Argentina international is on the sidelines at the moment.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder, who can also operate as a winger, has not played for Tottenham since October 25.
The former AS Roma star is suffering from a long-term hip problem and will miss today’s Premier League game against Burnley at the Wembley Stadium in London.
Former Tottenham defender Stevens has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his take on Lamela’s injury situation.

Lamela joined Tottenham from Italian club Roma in the summer of 2013 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £25.8 million.
The Argentine has struggled with injury problems during his time at Spurs so far, but when on form, he has been stunning.
Tottenham, though, have done well without the 25-year-old, finishing second in the Premier League last season and booking their place in the group stage of the Champions League for the second year in a row.
