Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Ham United and Southampton reportedly wanted to sign Birmingham City’s Che Adams in the January transfer window.

Che Adams is one of the best players in the Championship, and there was no surprise to see the Birmingham City star linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Southampton and West Ham United among other clubs in the January transfer window.
The Mirror reported in January that Wolves, Burnley, Huddersfield Town and Leicester City all have been keeping tabs on Adams, who can operate as a forward or as a midfielder.
The Daily Star claimed that West Ham and Southampton wanted to secure the services of the 22-year-old in the January transfer window.
Gary Rowett worked with Adams at Birmingham, and the former Stoke City and Derby County manager believes that the youngster is a Premier League player in the waiting, comments which will surely please the likes of Wolves, Southampton and West Ham.

Rowett said on Sky Sports: “Certainly with Che, for me, is a Premier League player in the waiting, and it’s only a matter of time before he goes there.”
