West Ham United reportedly want Ryan Shawcross from Stoke City in the summer transfer window.

West Ham United may be interested in Ryan Shawcross, but it seems that Stoke City are determined to keep hold of the central defender.
According to The Daily Mail (Transfer Live blog, 12:08pm, June 6, 2018), West Ham have shown interest in signing Shawcross from Stoke in the summer transfer window.
The 30-year-old centre-back is a very experienced player, while the Hammers need to a replacement for James Collins, who is leaving the London club this summer.

Stoke, though, are reported to be determined to keep hold of the former Manchester United prospect.
According to The Daily Star, new Stoke manager Gary Rowett wants to offer Shawcross a pay-rise, with the centre-back reported to having taken a huge pay-cut on his £50,000-a-week salary following the Potters’ relegation to the Championship.

Good decision from Stoke City?
For Stoke to bounce straight back to the Premier League, the Potters need to keep hold of their best players.
Shawcross is a very good defender who knows the Premier League inside out, and he would be a good signing for West Ham, who need players like him to progress and fulfil their ambition.
