Sheffield Wednesday-owned Sam Winnall scored twice for Derby County against Leeds United in the Championship this week.

The Rams continued their great run of form in the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Leeds away from home at Elland Road on Tuesday evening.
Winnall was the star of the show, as the 26-year-old striker scored both the goals for the visiting team.

The former Barnsley striker joined Derby on a season-long loan deal from Sheffield Wednesday in the summer transfer window.
The striker has not been a regular for the Rams so far this season, having managed to start just three Championship matches.
Winnall, though, has done relatively well, scoring four goals and providing one assist in seven league appearances for Derby so far this season.

Derby manager Rowett has admitted that it has been frustrating for the striker, but he is pleased with the response he gave against Leeds.
“He’s been frustrated because he hasn’t had much opportunity, for him it felt like he had two or three weeks where he didn’t play much football, and when that’s the case, a player of his ability will want to get out on the pitch,” Rowett told Derby’s official website about Winnall after the match on Tuesday.
“It’s the perfect response; he came on in the last game and ended up getting the winner, and today he starts the game and scores two goals.”
