Sheffield Wednesday, Fulham, Reading and Huddersfield Town are the four teams in the Championship playoffs.

Derby County manager Gary Rowett has been quoted as saying by The Derby Telegraph that Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham will reach the final of the Championship playoffs this season.
Wednesday will face Huddersfield in the semi-finals of the playoffs, while in the other tie Fulham will lock horns with Reading.

“It’s a really interesting one,” The Derby Telegraph quotes Rowett as saying. “I don’t think statistical evidence suggests the team with momentum gets promoted.
“(But) it’ll be hard to look further than Fulham because they’ve been playing so well. People will say they’re one of the hardest to play against.
“Huddersfield have done well but just dipped away right at the end and Sheffield Wednesday got the results to take them in (to the top six). I would have to tip Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham.”
Fulham ended the ‘regular’ Championship season strongly, and the Cottagers will certainly fancy their chances of reaching the playoff final.
In fact, the Cottagers will consider themselves as strong favourites to win the playoff final and get promoted to the Premier League for the 2017-18 campaign.
Wednesday have been in this situation before. The Owls failed to get promoted via the playoffs last season, and Carlos Carvalhal’s side will be determined to get it right this time around.
Reading and Huddersfield, though, should not be dismissed. After all, the Royals finished as high as third in the Championship table, and the Terriers ended up above the likes of Leeds United, Norwich City, Derby County and Aston Villa in the standings.
