Well, Mohamed Salah reminded everyone of his brilliance following an insane goal for Liverpool today.
Salah opened the scoring in this evening’s visit of Manchester City at Anfield.
He didn’t only open the scoring, but he did so in absolute style for Liverpool.
The Egypt international latched on to Alisson’s raking ball from defence, spun Joao Cancelo and calmly slotted beyond Ederson as Anfield erupted.

It was only Salah’s third Premier League goal for Liverpool this season.
And here’s how Gary Neville saw it, describing the goal itself as ‘special’.
He said on Sky Sports: “This is special. Salah has just reminded us of what world-class looks like. The first bit is mesmerising – the turn and strength.”
That’s as good a word as any from Neville to sum up the goal.
Everyone knows what Salah can do but, before this week, and before a Champions League hat-trick at Rangers, the former Chelsea and Roma winger hadn’t been at the races at all during the 2022-23 campaign.
But as the old adage goes, form is temporary and class is permanent.
And Salah’s class is definitely permanent.
This was a massive win for Jurgen Klopp’s side, who had only won two Premier League games all season before today.
They’re still 14 points behind top-of-the-table Arsenal but, with Liverpool boasting a game in hand, perhaps this is when the Reds’ season really starts.
