Gary Neville has praised Kai Havertz whilst backing the Arsenal man to improve on his time at London rivals Chelsea.
Kai Havertz will be better at Arsenal than he was at Chelsea, according to Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville.
The Gunners stunned many by completing a deal to sign Havertz earlier this summer.
Arsenal decided to strike a £65million deal to bring Havertz across London in a curious move.
The German endured three mixed years at Chelsea, scoring the winning goal in the Champions League final but also struggling for consistency.
Havertz didn’t seem to have a clear position either.
Often utilised as a striker at Chelsea, Havertz was previously an attacking midfielder or even right-sided midfielder at former club Bayer Leverkusen.
Havertz has now traded Stamford Bridge for the Emirates Stadium and will be looking to finally show himself as a consistent threat in English football.

Gary Neville backs Kai Havertz to shine at Arsenal
The move has divided opinion and Gary Neville has now offered his opinion on the move whilst speaking on The Overlap.
Neville has suggested that Havertz is a player who ‘underachieved’ during his time with Chelsea.
The former Manchester United ace believes that Havertz will now end up being a better player at Arsenal than he was with the Blues.
Neville is even surprised that Mauricio Pochettino allowed Havertz to leave Chelsea this summer, believing that the Argentinian would have wanted to keep him.

Neville predicts that Havertz can score up to 20 goals in this Arsenal team and thinks he can become a ‘major player’ with some composure in front of goal.
“I like Havertz as a player,” said Neville. “I think Havertz was underachieving at Chelsea.”
“I think Havertz is a very good player, I think, at Arsenal, he’ll be a lot better than he was at Chelsea. I’m surprised Pochettino let him go, I thought he would want to work with him.”
“I think he can get to 15 or 20 goals in the right team. Those missed chances, if he’s getting them all the time, that confidence comes, that calmness and assuredness, and all of a sudden his goals go from nine to 18 and suddenly you’re talking about a major player,” he added.
