Newcastle United and Leeds United are big clubs in England.

Newcastle are one of the biggest clubs in England and regularly attract around 50,000 fans for their home matches at St. James’ Park.
However, the Magpies have not won a major trophy for a while now and were playing in the Championship only last season after getting relegated from the Premier League.

The North-East club, though, are doing well at the moment and could challenge for a top-10 finish in the Premier League this season.
Former United defender Neville has stated that Newcastle struggle to attract players due to their location.
The former England international has also stated that the presence of Leeds United would strengthen the Premier League.
Leeds are also a big club, but the West Yorkshire outfit have not featured in the Premier League since 2004 and are playing in the Championship at the moment.

“It is difficult attracting players to the north-east,” The Chronicle quotes Neville as saying about Newcastle. “I would love to see a new owner come in. It is a wonderful football club.
“You think of Newcastle and Leeds, who are really big, big clubs and I think it would strengthen the league to have these clubs pushing towards the top again. It is a problem getting players out of London – it is a big attraction.”
