Gary Neville snubs Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli for Manchester City’s Leroy Sane.

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has picked Manchester City’s Leroy Sane ahead of Dele Alli of Tottenham Hotspur as the Premier League Young Player of the Season, as reported by Skysports.com.
The former United defender has explained why he considers that 21-year-old Sane, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, has had a better season than 21-year-old Alli.
“It’s between Dele Alli and Leroy Sane, but with Alli we know him and he’s been in the league for a couple of seasons,” Neville told Skysports.com when asked to pick his Young Player of the Season. “For Sane to come into the league and make the impact he has, it looks like he’s going to be really special.”
Sane joined Premier League giants City from German outfit Schalke in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to worth £37 million plus add-ons.
The Germany international has been superb for City and has established himself as a key figure in Pep Guardiola’s side.
The 21-year-old has scored four goals and created 21 chances in 19 Premier League matches for the Citizens so far this campaign.
Alli has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season and is arguably the best young player in entire Europe at the moment.
The 21-year-old England international midfielder has scored 16 goals and created 42 chances in 30 league games for Spurs so far this campaign.
