Gary Neville has told the people of Paris to ‘watch out’ after he asked Jamie Carragher how many Liverpool fans will travel for the 2022 Champions League final, as he posted on Instagram.

The Manchester United legend had a surprising look on his face when he was told by Carragher that around ’60,000’ fans will travel for their showdown against Real Madrid.

The Champions League final will be played at the Stade de France  – home of Paris Saint-Germain – it holds just over 80,000 fans.

Liverpool have been granted less than a quarter of those seats – but regardless of whether fans have a ticket or not, they will be in France’s capital to make themselves known.

Nonetheless, this is what Neville and Carragher had to say about Liverpool fans in Paris next week.

“How many of your mob are going to Paris,” Neville asked Carragher. “That will be a doing and a half, won’t it?

“You have no idea what’s coming Parisiens. Watch out. You have no idea what’s coming. Honestly, it’s a shambles. How many of you will there be? 30,000?”

When Carragher said ‘I would say 60 (thousand)’, Neville then proceed to ask ‘what does the stadium hold?’

Carragher then added: “People just go because they just want to be there. Just a party.”

HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF FOR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL IN PARIS

The last time Paris held a Champions League final, it was in 1981 when Liverpool beat none other than Real Madrid.

Ironically enough, it was the last time Madrid lost a European Cup/Champions League final.

So, whilst history is repeating itself regarding Liverpool and Madrid competing in a European Cup final in Paris.

Will the same happen regarding the result because the Merseyside giants have the chance to secure a record seventh European crown to their name.
