Gary Neville says that Jose Mourinho’s staff are extremely active behind him on the Tottenham Hotspur bench.
Speaking to Sky Sports, during their coverage, Neville was sat just above Tottenham’s bench during the North London derby.
And the Sky pundit noticed just how energetic Tottenham’s bench were, as they issued instructions and put pressure on officials.
“You just watch Jose Mourinho on the bench down below. There’s five or six of them scurrying round behind them. It’s an active bench. They’re like a little mafia, honestly,” Neville laughed.
Jamie Redknapp also backed up his point, making note of Tottenham’s defensive coach Ledley King’s actions.
“Even Ledley, the most mild manner lad I’ve ever met, even he’s got the bug! They’re all buying into it,” Redknapp added.
Mourinho does indeed seem to have players and staff alike buying into his philosophy at Tottenham.

There were times last season when Mourinho didn’t look an entirely great fit for Spurs, but this time around their team has been very different.
Tottenham now look extremely tough to break down, but they also carry a major attacking threat.
Spurs have taken seven points from games against Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal in recent weeks, and they now sit at the very top of the Premier League table, after a remarkable start to the season.
