Everton re-signed the 31-year-old striker on the weekend.
Gary Neville has congratulated Wayne Rooney on his move from Manchester United.
The 31-year-old forward re-joined Everton at the weekend after a trophy-laden 13-year spell at Old Trafford.

Neville was Rooney’s team-mate for seven of those years, and the former defender says that the hitman – who leaves as United’s all-time record goalscorer – was the best striker that he played with during his time at the Theatre of Dreams.
It is quite an indictment for Rooney, given that Neville played alongside the likes of Ruud van Nistelrooy and Eric Cantona during his lengthy spell at the club.
Rooney is Everton’s eighth summer signing, following the likes of Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen and Sandro Ramirez to name a few.
The England international scored 253 goals in 559 appearances for the Red Devils and although he is getting on, he still has plenty of years left in him.
